Our story begins in the ‘60s in Pesaro, in Central Italy, an area that has always been home to beauty. The land between Pesaro and Urbino were home to the great composer Gioacchino Rossini, the great painter Raphael, and the splendours of Renaissance artist Piero della Francesca, as well as to noble dynasties of patrons of art, such as the Sforza and Della Rovere.
Urbino is the ideal 16th-century town, and its surrounding hills and villages are a model of harmony and balance that will become popular all over the world. The Berloni family established the eponymous company in the city where beauty is at its best. And Berloni kitchens have always drawn inspiration from the style and taste that have characterised this land over the centuries.
